HISTORY

The Shadow – Ford Cosworth DN8 is a car of the Formula 1 World Championship in 1977. The American team with English license with Alan Jones at the wheel of the Shadow – Ford Cosworth DN8 n.17 finished seventh at the Formula 1 World Champion 1977 with one victory in season. The Australian driver obtained the best result in the Grand Prix of Austria at Zeltweg circuit with a first place starting from fourteenth place on the starting grid.

With team mate Riccardo Patrese they brought Shadow to seventh place in the constructors’ championship

The championship was won by the Ferrari 312 T2 of Niki Lauda
