HISTORY

The Tyrrell – Renault 015 is a single-seater that participated in the 1986 Formula 1 World Championship. Designed by Maurice Philippe and Brian Lisles, the car was equipped with a very fast but high consumption Renault turbo engine.

Martin Brundle with the Tyrrell – Renault 015 n.3 arrived eleventh in the 1986 Formula 1 World Championship with eight points in season. Together with his teammate Philippe Streiff they took Tyrrell to seventh place in the constructors’ title. In the Australian Grand Prix on the Adelaide circuit, the team achieved its best result with both cars in points. Brundle finished fourth while Streiff finished fifth.
