HISTORY
The Ferrari 333 SP is a prototype that participated in the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1998. In 1994 Ferrari decided to return to competing in the Sport Prototype races but not officially, but offering a car to its customers. The 333 SP was designed by Dallara and fitted with a Ferrari engine with concepts derived from Formula 1. In the five years that followed the Maranello house, it entrusted the modifications to Michelotto Automobili.
The Italian Doran Moretti racing team with Mauro Baldi, Arie Luyendyk, Giampiero Moretti and Didier Theys with the Ferrari 333 SP n.30 winner at the 24 Hours of Daytona 1998. In second place the Porsche 911 GT1 Evo n.01 with Allan McNish, Danny Sullivan, Jörg Müller, Uwe Alzen and Dirk Müller of the Rohr Motorsport with a gap of eight laps to winner, while in third position the Porsche 911 GT1 Evo n.00 with Christophe Bouchut, Patrice Goueslard, Carl Rosenblad, André Ahrlé of the Lambre Competition with a gap of forty-four laps to winner.
