HISTORY

The Jaguar XJR-12 is a car that participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans of 1991. The car was designed by Tony Southgate. The manufacturer comes to the race with the new Jaguar XJR-14, but after qualifications, decided to use the old model XJR-12.

The English Silk Cut Jaguar team with Davy Jones, Raul Boesel and Michel Ferte at the wheel of the Jaguar XJR-12 n.35 finished second at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1991, with a gap of two laps to winner. The race won by Mazda 787B n.55 of Johnny Herbert, Volker Weidler and Bertrand Gachot, in third position the Jaguar XJR-12 n.34 of Bob Wollek, Teo Fabi and Kenneth Acheson.
